In technical areas today, there are many specialized dictionaries using information technology. However, we have not had any dictionary softwares in garment industry in Vietnam. The paper will explain the designing method of the dictionary software in the Textile and Garment technology through the Visual Basic .Net programming language. Besides, the purpose of this study is to collect and build a system of clothing terminology in English and in Vietnamese languages. This software has an intuitive interface and ready-to-use database management solutions that make it easy to set up and use. The main results in this study will be used in training and research for lecturers, students at universities and staffs at garment companies
